Publish to Web

This is a regular Google Doc that has been “published to the web.” Google Slides, Sheets, and Drawings can also be easily published as web pages. Depending on the application, this may be a quicker and/or easier option for sharing content with the outside world.

What are some things you or your students could publish?

  • Images
  • Project showcase
  • Auto-updated class journal
  • Quick list of resources/links
  • Collection of photos
  • Quick event resource page

To publish a web version of your document just click on File, then click Publish to the web...

On the next pop-up menu you will find the link to your published document. You can also access this same menu to stop publishing. By default your published document will automatically reflect any changes you make to the original. Keep in mind that it only updates every five minutes or so.
