Thiglink

Happy Tuesday everyone! Thinglink is a web-based application for creating interactive images that you can share with your students. Here’s an example of one created by Jamie Foster from Edutech for Teachers, which includes some fun holiday edtech resources.

The Process:
  1. Create an account here (you can sign in with your Eminence Google account if you want)
  2. Upload an image
  3. Add tags or “hotspots” to your image
  4. These tags can be text only, or include links to other images, websites, or videos.
Once you create your Thinglink image you can edit it, share it by link, or embed it in your own website.  You can also search for Thinglinks that have been created by other teachers and students, like this one one the writing process.

You can find Thinglink video tutorials here. A few more examples:

Let me know if you have any questions. I hope everyone has a great break!
